  • 350 micrometre laminating process – help needed please?

    Good morning all,

New to this game so hope this is the right spot to post.

Is it possible to laminate this thick stuff (i’m using 350µm laminate) without a laminator? I seem to be getting a lot of silvering or trapped air as i just don’t seem to be able to apply enough pressure. Perhaps it is because im trying to do it cold? :banghead:

If the general opinion is that I need a laminator please advise the cheapest / workable machine whether it be hot or cold roll.

    Many thanks in advance.

    :praise1:

Get a set of chinese made powered rollers from either an auction site or direct from a reseller for about £690 for a 1600mm version.

They work – nothing fancy, but I put a roll or two worth of media through mine most weeks without scrapping anything.
