Local signs and visual graphics provider FASTSIGNS® of Norman is already giving back to the community. The new business donated vehicle graphics to local Boy Scout Troop 245. Troop 245’s equipment trailer was stolen from the church parking lot where it was regularly stored. The stolen trailer was never recovered, but local residents helped out by donating a nearly identical trailer. FASTSIGNS of Norman donated the visual graphics for the new trailer.

"We were elated to have the opportunity to support the troop and replace some of what had been stolen from the organization," said Jeff Ahl, who owns FASTSIGNS of Norman with his wife Kaye. "Even though our center was not officially open yet, our outside sales professional, Scott Blick, and graphic designer, Tony Conway, began collecting design ideas for the trailer. We wanted to do more than just replace the black lettering and logo."

The center’s visual communications specialist, Cassie Foley, also assisted with the trailer graphics. The first weekend after FASTSIGNS of Norman officially opened, Ahl and his team installed full-color vinyl graphics with the Boy Scout’s logo on both sides and on the rear of the trailer. "It was a great experience for us as we developed skills while enjoying the energy and satisfaction of doing something special for such a great group of people," Ahl said. "Wow, I saw the trailer Friday night, it looks incredible," said Jim Nelson, Boy Scout Master of Troop 245. "We could not have ever hoped for something that nice."
