  • How do you change the plotter width in Gerber Omega, help?

Posted by Adrian Neill on 1 December 2014 at 13:35

    Hi All.

I did post this back quite some time ago, but I don’t seem to be able to find my old post.

Problem we have is, we have a 1500mm wide plotter, but our Omega program is only allowing us 1200mm of that width. I remember someone explaining how to go into the settings and being able to change the detail of the plotter so that we can let the Omega program know the actual width.

Anyone on here know how to change those settings within the Omega program ? I’ll make sure I make a copy next time !!

    Cheers in advance.

Hi Fred, thanks for your reply.

Yep, I know how to install a plotter, but it’s possible to go into the details within the program (through windows explorer) and alter the maximum width. It’s this part that I can’t remember how to get to.

Like I said, I had asked this before and someone from Gerber responded, but unfortunately the post doesn’t seem to exist anymore and I don’t seem to have made a copy.

We’ve got round the problem now, but it’d be good is anyone does know how to do this as it’d be handy for future reference.
