Hi everyone, hope someone can help. We have printed some text with a gradient fill and a ccutline applied in corel x5. Our versacamm sp540 prints it no problem with the alignment marks. The problem is after lamination. I have reloaded the media, changed the cut setting to cut only and then when i press cut the printer says now processing and makes a noise like its about to start cutting then just stops abrubtly and goes back to the screen showing the media width. The printer head doesnt move or do anything at all. We have been at this all afternoon trying to figure out whats wrong and we have no clue. Does anyone have any ideas? Many thanks

    Try re-booting your computer.

Had the same problem intermittantly, my workaround is to load the original .eps file into versaworks again as though starting from scratch, set the same parameters as the first one for crop marks, number of copies etc, then select cut only and go. Should do the trick.

We had a very similar problem with our XR640 it ended up being a button stuck down on the printer keypad.

I hope it’s as simple as that for you too

We get this quit often, don’t know why. Just turn the printer right off and restart.
