  edge lit led exterior sign, battery powered – help sourcing?

  Hi All,
  I am looking for a battery run edge lit system. Preferably something with a aluminium frame to hide leds, batteries etc. I saw a system last year at a trade show, but cant seem to track it down via google. Has anyone seen anything? We want to engrave the perspex so the engraved part and edges glow at night.

  What sort of size are you looking at Dan & why batteries?

  Batteries don’t last that long in small edge lit signs so using them in something quite large is just going to cause more problems, access for one unless you are looking at something rechargeable on a built in system so that they can be recharged without having to remove them.

  Sorry can’t help with who supplies such a thing, did see a couple of LED companies mentioned on other threads but don’t know if they do what you want. Try a search, can’t recommend anyone personally though.

  Not big Martin 70cm x 50cm something in that region, why batteries because we cannot get mains power.
