  Print to file Onyx 10 – help required, please?

  We are using Onyx 10, an HP L26500 and a Summa D160. We use the OPOS barcode system to cut multiple jobs.

  Is there a way to print to file so I can generate a cut path for a job that doesn’t currently have one, without actually having to print it?

  Not exactly. The only way I could find to do it was to put a cut path on the original artwork and then press print, but cancel it straight away. This generates the cut file but you have to load manually, not from the barcode.

  A bit late sorry but this might help future sufferers.
  Go to Configure printer>Device>Configure Port>Print to file.
  Might be an idea to write down the existing settings for when you change it back.
