  Vacuum power settings – noise level help required please

  Hi I just got a used roland versacamm 54i and its very loud when switched on, i also have a sp30i which is nowhere near as loud, i have played around with the settings on the 54i and came across vacuum power settings, when i switch it from auto to 50% the noise level goes down to the same as the sp30i which is set to auto, i no its sounds confusing but what i’m getting at is are the 54i louder because they have 2 fans compared to the sp30i having one and will changing the settings effect the printing

  One would have thought so because the fans are probably the same across models

  But I am no expert that is for sure
