Hi all, just wondered if anyone can help with this?
I have reinstalled my rip software after my pc blew up!! All printing ok now, but when printing the carriage seems to "wait" for a few seconds at each end of the machine. Not a massive problem really, but it adds quite a lot of time to the job which all adds up. I think it’s to do with the buffer settings ( maybe ) I’ve set them to 10 % and 90 % but seems exactly the same on both these settings, any ideas out there?.
I’m using Shiraz solo and was fine before, mnot really used to setting up rips, just like to send the job to print and forget it if I can.
    Any ideas appreciated, thanks steve

That is normally because Shiraz (or more often the PC) can’t send the data to the printer quick enough. It’s effectively stalling while it waits for the data to arrive.

Is the PC of a reasonable spec?
