  Summa D1400 Cutting Blade Skips

  Hi
  Can anyone help?, yesterday i tried to fix my worn out opos sensor to do this i took off the cutting head. now the opos is working ok but i have caused another problem!.
  The blade seems to crash heavily into vinyl and then skips for about an inch until it settles down, if i slow it right down it gets rid of the skipping but still puts a small hole in the vinyl where it has landed heavily.

  Sounds like the plunger is sticking in the windings or think there is a spring to pull the head back upmay be missing or not connected correctly
