    Hi sign people!

    Todays problem…..
Using Flexi 7.5 on my imac.
Create a blend image from red to yellow.
File saved as eps and opened in versaworks.

When printed, the image is a good red blending into fine line of yellow which then turns into a lime green.

Experimented with different blends of red & yellow but same result.
    Any suggestions?

    Philip

Do you have another design package, Illustrator or Corel? If so, create a new file with the colour colour mode set to CMYK. Create a blend, then save as an eps and add it to the VersaWorks queue and print it.

See if the result change at all.

I had a lot of trouble getting good reds particularly in both Flexi and Signlab, so for anything printed I now use Illustrator and make sure the colour mode is CMYK and it seems to work pretty well for me.

dont think its the blend just the output colour of the yellow, straight from flexi to my roland would give similar results so I always import eps to signlab and set rvw colours before printing just work out whatver works for your setup

make a 100% yellow colour chip in your colour palette and then select it when you create the gradient make sure you select cmyk

    Hi Kevin,
you’re the new "UK Signboards Superhero of the Day"!!

Turned the blend into cmyk in flexi and it’s printing PERFECT.
    Thank you for your help.

I have had the same issue when the artwork from Illustrator was RGB. Need to have a CMYK workspace / artboard.

    Good to hear its sorted.
