    Hi

Just wondered if anyone could recommend a printable vinyl that has a killer "stick to anything" adhesive.

We’ve got a customer that needs to put labels on hire equipment and many items are a bit grubby. They do tend to clean the surface with IPA and the surfaces tend to be painted metal and low energy plastics so not the best to adhere too.

Metamarks highest tack vinyl MDP-H-200 comes off after a day or two.

Can anyone recommend any thing else ?

    Any idea appreciated.

    Thanks

if thats commiing off that quick i would guess application temp too low and or pressure washers

some times the thick glue types need heating

It certainly is very cold in their workshop, its as cold as it is outside but they do have some from another supplier that stuck fine, only problem they ran out of those so no backing paper to see the manufacturer name 🙁

I’ll check out Arlon as a starter.

    Thanks

I did some sticks in the summer for a plant hire company – Used the motocross ENDURO TACK.

The Arlon 8000, it was designed for mx plastics and other low energy plastics but can also be use for wall wraps this should do the job.

Try LG 5 year digital. We use this to combat that exact problem, sticks like nothing else I’ve tried. Plus this is one hell of a lot cheaper than any super tack vinyls

Arlon DPF8000 works like a charm, very strong adhesive.

Oracal 3951HT sticks stronger but much more pricey.
