  • Which type of paint for lettering onto walls with mask vinyl

I do have a problem with black paint, this type op paint is more liquid than white, or coloured paint.

Result: with use of even avery signmask blue, grey, or even a oracal 631, the black paint gets liquid and I do not have straigt lines when filling the mask up with paint.

With white, beige and red there’s no problem.

At this moment I am using Sigma Tigron Aqua matt (waterbased) paint, for wood etc.

Can I use another sort of paint like: acryl or oil based, for filling up my mask onto painted wall surface…

    Kind Regards,
    Tim

you might be better off changing the paint application method and applying it dryer, may be use a sponge or roller

Old trick which may help Tim is to first coat with the same colour as the background (in this case the wall colour) This coat does the bleeding and seals the edge of the stencil so when you apply the top coat it doesn’t bleed so much.

why is ther no "like button " on this forum,
Makes perfect sense Paul, and will be employed by me from now on,
