You need to set up your blade offset and overcut……has bee covered many times…..use the search fuction to find the threads.

Chinese cuttters can be very good but NEED to be setup well.

Flexi can run in mm,cm,inches feet….whatever you want….right click on the ruler and set it to what you want.

Roland blades (which Chinese plotters normally use ) have a blade offsetone 0.25 mm….offset is normally double the blade offest?

Sorry….blade offset 0.25mm,over cut 0.5mm…….bear in mind these are initial settings that should be tweaked for your plotter .

thanks john. should i have my plotter set to any other settings that u think i mite need to know.? if i tweek the settings and still can get it to start and finish a letter at the same point what could be the problem.? i have been at it for ages and wasted lots of vinyl.

    cheers chris

The problem is the offset and over cut.

My guess is that you have left the over cut and offset settings still with the tick…..this does not apply the settings.

£200 cutter and £3000 software…….think you need to put in some effort.
