  • HELP! How do you clever guys match Pantone colours?

Posted by Nick Minnery on 13 January 2014 at 14:01

Well, I have a light green colour to match (5793u) and I use CorelDraw. The closest Versaworks colour I can match is not quite right.

I’ve tried doing a CMYK version , but again it was way off (hot)

    Any pointers would be fab,

    Ta!!

Print out a Pantone chart and find the closest match and work it backwards. I.e, put the wrong value into your artwork to achieve the correct value on the printer.

(I can’t think of a better way to explain it, sorry).

    Thanks Stafford, good call that.

I printed off the Versaworks colours, didn’t think of printing the Pantone colours out for reference though.

    Cheers!
