I had to do some research on it for the hubby ( him and his ideas)
You are limited to the design available from the manufacturers.
If you could print your own it`ll be great

Take it you couldn’t find a supplier of the print media Denise. I did the same as you. Lots of research but couldn’t find a supplier for the film. Emailed a couple of companies but they were only interested in selling their printed designs & not a roll of film.

we did speak to someone offering this service at a car show, he said his supplier would print our own designs, but he`d want a minimum print run of £20K worth………

I also looked at this, you can buy the blank media never got a price though, you need a pigment based printer not solvent and a spray booth to apply a clear coat to protect the print.
the spray was an activator to dissolve the backing

i have done some in a small way and its great fun but full of pit falls, you were watching a skilled person with all the right gear making it look easy
