Good access equipment

Hi

We are more and more in need of compact access equipment to work at heights of about 3-4 meters in confined or indoor areas.

Are there any clever and good quality towers etc out there you can recommend?

preferable one that can be easily moved as we worked across a lareg wall space for example as well as working up and down with ease.

not asking too much am I? :lol1:

Hi warren
a decent ali scasff tower is good ours is approx 3 feet wide and 6 feet long
with two sets of wheels we have joined two towers to have double the walkway although only at around 3-4 metres
you should go down the route of pasma training if you do get one
or you can get one of these below
google its about 4 down

I recently purchased a Razor deck, which fits into a small van, very handy, list price 1600 quid, but picked it up second hand for £500.00 various heights, there is now a larger one available, if you have a look on you tube.

NOT SEEN THEM BEFORE GRAHAM, GOOD IDEA MATE.
HAVE TO SAY I HATE WORKING WITH ANY SORT OF SCAFFOLD OR LADDERS NOW.
CHEERY PICKERS ALL THE WAY FOR ME… UPTO SHOP FASCIA HEIGHT ILL USE TRESTLES AND CATWALKS.

nice peice of kit ive never seen anything like it, i think it would take some time to be comfortable working on it 😕

Used to work with my dad on a set of what we called ‘cripples’, pre H&S days! 🙂

Great for some jobs, no different to working on steps and a plank, unfortunately one of the set got lost/robbed thus rendering them kinda useless. 🙁

You could try looking at Teletower. These are smaller and easier to handle than a Razordeck. Around £1000 if you speak to the right people.
