Fitting Horizontal Stripes to Vehicles
Just working on a design for a customer at the moment. They’ve supplied the logo as an EPS which is brilliant, but doesn’t have much impact.
I am thinking of adding 5inch horizontal stripe down the sides, and put the phone number on that. (something like the attached which I have sourced online) but higher up just below the door handles above the wheel arches.
Not sure how to best go about installing something like this before I go showing the customer?
Use a cast vinyl, and cut it in the plotter in strips long enough to cover each panel?

exactly how I would do it. Use a cast and app tape. Fit dry with oversized panels the apply text on top
If you print and laminate then its easier

A cast or even 551 would do the job David, either cut the text out or apply over the top. Fitting is straight forward. Centre hinge it & fit dry.

cast vinyl but cut it the full lenght i think it would be easier fit/align that way rather than panel by panel,and centre hinge as martin has said

I’m stopping the stipe at the front of the driver/passenger door, keeping it simple, rather than trying to get a curve right.
