    Hi All,

I’ve recently moved up from a creation pcut to a graphtec ce5000-60. I used to use Flexi 10 starter edition which was a Liyu oem version but I got the driver for creation from uk cutter who sold me the software. All I had to do was install the driver in the output folder of flexi, I asked uk cutter for the graphtec driver but they only have the cheap Chinese one’s. Can anyone tell me where I can get the actual flexi version of the graphtec driver or email me it? I currently cut using the corel draw plugin but I prefer restricting the head movement which I don’t think you can do with the plugin. I don’t want to spend £££’s on a yet more software just to restrict the head.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried contacting scanvec about the driver Ewan? Don’t think you can access the drivers without registering with them but as you own a copy of flexi10 you should be able to register anyway if you aren’t already.

I haven’t tried contacting them yet. Thought it would just be a case of someone opening flexi from their hard drive and from flexi’s output folder copying the driver. I had to install the creation driver and that’s how it was done.

    cheers

Did your Flexi starter come with the P Cut?

If so it may be an oem version that has a limited amount of drivers on it.

This was the case with my oem Photoprint ( Flexi RIP) that came with my Chinese printer.

in the window driver under options is SORTING think that tries to stop the head going all over the place.

the driver cuts the loops in the order that you create them so from the back of the graphic to the front. you can manipulate the order cut if you wish by putting the object to the rear cut first or to the front cut last.

think i got it the right way round don’t bother with it much.

Yer it should be Ewan but that’s assuming someone running flexi 10 reads your post & can help. Just thought contacting them direct might be a quicker option :lol1: :lol1:

I actually have Flexi 10 Starter.

    Open up production manager.

Click on Setup / Add Setup and a dialogue box will appear (see below)

Select the Manufacturer, Graphtec and the Model, CE5000-60

Then it will ask you to select how it is connected. USB normally and that should be it.

That only works if the drivers are included. The flexistarter 10 from uk cutter is a chinese knock off. They are machine specific.

Did you ever hear back. It would surprise me if they would let you have the drivers as the starter edition is just that and is sold machine specific.

Speaking to uk cutter ace business park , mackadown lane. (they sell on ebay under the name SIGNZWORD) would be no good either as the last guy who knew anything there resigned last week.

    Hope this helps.
