Hello – finally got here!
Hi,
I’m Mike Hall. after much trial and tribulation I have finally got myself sorted and will be around now and again!

If you don’t know – (and most won’t) I’m an ex employee of Masonlite and now an independent consultant. Also, I’m involved with the BSGA and ESF (European Sign Federation).
So neon was 22 years of my life and now I get involved in sign lighting of all sorts including measuring colour, light output and those dreaded Standards.See you around!

I am actually still trying to work around being there Mike, I have to be in Dublin for that full week with training truck at Robert Hornes Open days.
So I am looking to try have someone there for me 2 days so i can attend the meeting and the open day at Smiths. talk about getting pulled in two directions at once. 😕 :lol1: -
Only 2 directions? (‘:D’)
I am going to the open day (extend my knowledge somewhat!) and the meetings.

Great to hear you are going to be visiting our open day. It’s currently a hive of activity…. If you stand still too long you either get painted or have vinyl stuck to you!!! Please tap me in the shoulder and say hello :lol1: you’re coming to extend your knowledge but I bet we end up asking you just as many questions. Neon has never been something we’ve been involved in.
Rob when will you buy a diary??? I think that’s your Christmas present this year……a wee pocket diary, stop double booking yourself 😉 …..if you manage to get cover in Ireland and pop back just let me know if you need collecting from anywhere. Plus shout if you need a room booked, I can advise a couple of options.

I have moved on from neon – though the old grey cells do retain a bit about it!
LEDs and their colour, light and its measurement are my thing. Leading to choosing the right LED for backlighting a particular colour – optimising efficacy.As well as Standards (up to a point). Drone, drone…………..
