New to the forum, from Surrey
Hi everybody, another forum newbie here!
My name is Jonny and I’ve been producing vinyl stickers/decals for about two or so years. I started off with a cheap Liyu SC631 plotter but now I’ve got a Graphtec CE6000-60 and I’m loving it. I purchased it from Harry @ Edward Mathias and I also use their excellent Smart Knives – I’d be interested to read what blades other people use?
At the moment I mostly do custom orders for a plethora of clients.
I’ve been through a lot of different brands of vinyl but I’ve settled on Hexis – mainly for the quality of the vinyl, price and efficient customer service/delivery.
I seem to be constantly ‘playing’ with different application tapes, though. So if any of you have any tips in that area I’d be interested in reading them. Obviously different products suit different sizes of decals/lettering etc. At the moment the Hexis HEX160 tape is working well for medium to large decals and lettering.
I’ll be keeping my eye on the forum for tips and I’ll try and help others if I can.
Many thanks for now 😀
