  • What is this type of banner called?

Posted by Chris Foster on 25 July 2013 at 14:08

Hi there, I have a friend who owns an arcade on the seafront and he is looking to have a seating area out the front. He wants to put banners / posts around an area and wants the banners printed on. He was saying that the banners that he has seen are meshed so that the wind doesnt catch them, with a sleeve along the top with eyelits on the bottom corners for fitment onto the posts.

Any ideas what the right name for this material is called? He wants 8 of them printing up…..

    Thanks

mesh can sometimes look poor depending on the design, colours etc.
its fine and not so much an issue large scale and looked at from a distance but i always think, again, depending on design colour depth etc they look washed out or certain small text hard to read. if you have multiples to do i would show the customer one and make sure its as he wants it.
also be careful on the hole size as the holes in the mesh can vary in size, again effecting the finish.
