Got my price it guide book through today. Extremely interesting read so far. Some of my prices are about right and some are a bit cheap. Great to be able to gauge it though

Ewan, it’s good if you have no idea what you should be charging for a certain type of work but don’t forget it was compiled on a National level so some of the prices may be a bit more than some can realistically charge.
I try & set my prices by what the other local sign companies are charging excluding those that work for beer money :lol1: :lol1:

Ewan, Can you let me know where you bought the price it guide?

Having had it for a while I would agree with previous comments. It has been invaluable in some cases but in most cases it is what it says – a guide. Many of my prices are similar which is great to know I’m on the right track. I certainly don’t use it as my definitive price list

Gary, not a bad thing to have but as has already been said use it as a guide only, the best way to sort out your pricing is what the local completion is charging for the same sort of work.
