    Hello All
I have been asked to put right a crash repair job it is a rear door on a DHL citreon relay. The van was white but wrapped in yellew vinyl, the colour match that someone else has done is awfull the vehicle is a 2010 plate and asume that the wrap must be 3 years old so the colour must have fadded a bit, i took all the swatches i have and think i got pretty close with a 10yr cast from the jumbo swatch from APS but before i purchase it i wonderd if any of you may have done any and if so what vinyl did you use,
the vinyl code from the swatch is K70322 any help would be great.
    Thank you
    Mark

Pantone 116c is the DHL yellow.

3M 1080 G15 looks close and would make it an easier job.

I might be wrong but I’m sure the course I did at Hexis they mentioned DHL yellow being a custom colour they supplied, might well keep it off the shelf though if you need it quick.

If I’m wrong then I’m sure someone will correct me 🙂

We’re also in the same boat, in need of some fro a crash repair.

Spoken with Hexis today, they do 2 different shades of the colour, one for Europe, one for UK. – We’ve requested a sample of each to match.

Ive pantone matched the red with a view to print, anyone know if theres a specific colour vinyl?

We used to supply most of the cab decals.
The official colour is fasson 900 soft red.
But most vinyl manufacturers do a close match

Well I have got plenty of it, but I can’t guarantee it’s the right colour and looking at Richard’s post it makes me wonder. I was told it is DHL yellow and it is Hexis Air Release film but there is no code on the release liner so it’s up to you. If you PM me your details I will send some over.
