Hi, i have 5mm acrylic flat cut text covering 29" x 14" space, the big letters are roughly 12" high and the small ones are 1.5" high. im wanting to fix these to a freshly-painted interior plasterboard wall but dont want to use locators, screws or glue.

will uhb tape do? im thinking a thick/foam based one, eg 5mm depth, which can create a gap between the letters and the wall.

    thanks

The big issue you might have here is the bond between the paint and the wall failing, and unless you painted the wall yourself you have no control over it. I would think VHB tape will stick to most painted surfaces pretty well. I often use hot glue to stick small acrylic letters to interior walls, but you have to work quickly or it cools.
