    Hi Everyone,

I found an old post about this, but hoping for a bit of current advice. I’m looking for Fluorescent Blue vinyl. I have a race team to do (which I also engineer/mechanic for) and they have 6 cars all in identical colours – so the wing mirrors and headlight trims are all going to be fluorescent so that we can spot each car fromthe pit wall and on telly. So far, yellow, pink, green, red, orange…all fine, but I’m struggling for blue, the sixth colour. From what I’ve read, it’s rubbish and doesn’t last long, that’s not an issue here though, the bits with the vinyl will likely be forcibly removed from the car before they get a chance to fade :lol1:

    Cheers
    Baz

    Hi Baz,

Closest I’ve found is Mactac 9800 Series Luminous Cyan.

All print supplies stock it 01753 696977

Did have a fluorescent blue in stock a while back but can’t recall where I got it
    from…..maybe metamark, can’t be sure.

    Good luck

    Dan

fluorescent blue was discontinued by either Ritrama or Grafityp, i forget which one… i think Grafityp had the largest range of day-glow from memory.

to be honest, the fluorescent Blue didnt POP! like all other day-glo colours, which is maybe why it was dropped. however, one of the standard colours in the oracal range is almost identical to the fluorescent colours, so much so its what we use as a replacement. i dont know the series code of the vinyl, sorry, but will be in the 551 or 751c range.
