  Summa d120 problems cutting mirror silver

  Morning all, just got some lovely silver mirror from metamark which prints fantastic. Made some small labels up as a sample and put it onto our summa to cut but it just won’t recognise the reg marks. I’m assuming it’s because it is mirrored and just reflecting the data back at the optical eye, any suggestions?

  some frosted or mat laminate over the mark area has worked for me in the past.

  Thanks Chris, sorted it now just ran 2 strips of app tape across the reg marks and it picked it up fine. Another problem solved 🙂 It’s always a learning curve in this business.
