I have been ask to provide a generic method statement and risk assesment to cover all eventualities.

Do you think I should include within my documentation, consideration of the risk of being struck by a meteorite or drowning on my own vomit? 😕

Ah, you’ve just got to play ’em at their own game for the cover everything guff.

Write generic answers to generic questions.

"Assess requirements for access equipment"…"Procure and use equipment in accordance with current H&S regulations"

"assess risks associated with use of flammable chemicals"…"follow best practice to avoid incidents and provide COSHH data when available."

    Etc. etc.

(AKA "Ooooh, looks risky….gonna no’ do that")
