Hi All, can say that I have never had to replace a flex faced system but need to quote for replacing the images attached does anyone know if it:

    1. still exists/who makes them
    2. how easy to replace and re-tension
    3. would you take this job on or just quote for a whole new box

    look forward to some education

    Thanks

    G

    George,

It looks like a Kestrel Signs box. They are in the toolbar listing under post and panel signs, my experience of them is a very helpful company and I believe they can produce the replacement face material.

No, but a couple of years ago I had a sample box made up. The whole idea seems quite straight forward, method of tensioning etc and there is a tool that they supply to hook it all together. It’s one thing fixing 20" square panel together on the bench though
I think that a good flat wrinkle free installation will rely on the face material being made accurately, by Kestrel?
Stuart or Lorraine are the people to speak to at Kestrel.

    it is the kestral system.
i havent used that one but i think you have a sort of small handled hook that you just pull the spring up to meet the hole in the tensioning bar and it self adjusts.

    Its called ‘springflex’, surprise surprise!!

If its a big one you will need something to pull the springs off and on, your fingers start to hurt after about 20 or so.
