  • can anyone advise with AXYZ Toolpath software?

Posted by Brian Mack on 24 February 2013 at 09:56

    Hi All
Ive got an AXYZ Millenium and am going to run Vcarve Pro on it or maybe even buy Aspire. AXYZ runs via Toolpath. My version of Toolpath is 2.8.0.3. Questions are, will it work with both or either software packages. Is Toolpath up to date. If not will AXYZ charge me for an update.
Sorry its a bit long winded for my first post. Brian 😀

I cant remember the version numbers but my CNC is on one of the later firmwares, this allows a program that will send NC files to the CNC.

So then you can use VCarve etc.

I think Vcarve and Aspire have drivers to send work direct to the AXYZ machines. Best place to ask would be Vectric website forum.

yes drivers to make NC code…. they work fine… then a tool to send the data which is a replacement for toolpath.

Best bet would be the Vetric Forum as Neil has said, AXYZ are listed on the post processor for Vcarve but no idea what versions it would work with.
You can download a trial version of Vcarve that will allow you to cut some pre loaded sample files which will give you a feel for the software & test it’s compatibility with your machine.
