Advice please on monomeric / polymeric vinyl
Hi guys, would i be ok applying a digitally printed graphic, over the indent on the bottom of a transit door. Or more specifically, would a monomeric vinyl be sufficient or would i need a polymeric vinyl even though i will not be heating it into the indent, just simply squeegying it into the indent.

No to monumeric and polymeric will probably pop after time.

If the print is shaped like that then yes it’ll work, but you’ll have to be careful and make sure you only lay the vinyl into the crease and not stretch it in.
If it’s a full print with white background then no.

I dont think there would be a problem with either if you are feeding in rather than heat+stretch

I didnt think it would be a problem either, however this is the 2nd time the vehcle has came back into get it replaced. I am definately not heating it and i am leaving plenty of time for it to outgas 🙁

couple of ideas
laminate must be matched or better quality than the print material which should be polymeric at least, as you say feed it in no stretch

truck wash.
fitting over over spray paint rough surface

Cast / printed quality wrap – excellent all rounder
Polymeric – does simple curves, but basically for flat surfaces – eventually pops out of deep recesses – absolutely fine over panel creases though.
Monomeric – for lining the inside of bins…there’s a reason it’s cheap! (temp / flat / interior)
