  • How many meters sq you can print with Eco-sol max ink?

Posted by Rainbow Designers on 7 February 2013 at 20:12

hi, would anybody be able to give me a rough approximation of how many meters sq you can print with a 440ml or 220ml ecosol max ink? I am in the process of buying a VS-640 after many years of paying somebody a fortune to do all my printing.

I know this might sound like a stupid question because this would depend on what the artwork your printing is like and would vary but any rough figure would do as i just need to punch a figure into my business plan and cant find this info anywhere, like i said, just a rough approximation will do.

    Thanks in advance

not perhaps the answer you were looking for but versaworks estimates the ink consumption before each job and for me multiplying that figure by 25p gives me a job by job guide to how much ink im using

ie my last print was 14.09 cc lets call it 14 x 25p so ink cost for that job around £3.50

    Hope that helps

Thanks, how many meters sq was that job? And why do you multiply by 25?

it would be wrong of me to give a sq meter rate because as youve said that will vary with every print and if you divide the price your paying for an ink cart by the amount of cc’s in it you will get to a price per unit to estimate jobs
