  • Using Copyright images

Morning guys. We’ve been asked to produce some pretty cool signage, but we are most certainly going to be dealing with copyrighted photographs.

Without going into too much detail, we have been asked to produce some signs that will include photographic images of the Beatles. Now these are most certainly going to have a copyright on them but to be honest we don’t have an idea where to start ?

Who/where do you go to to find out who owns the rights and how we can go about getting a price to allow us to use them ?

Any help at all would be much appreciated.

Yes they most probably will be copyrighted as you say.

My old man designed some Beatles themed juke box wraps for a customer, I will see if he can remember how he went about getting the images/rights to use them.

Cheers David, that would be very helpful indeed.
