hi there
this all depends greatly on what you intend on bending, the volume of work and the thickness. this coming from pretty much a novice on this, i’m sure there will be other things to take into consideration.
i looked into this about ten years ago. most cost effective option i found was a simple and very affordable product from the USA, well, in comparison to anything i found around the UK that is. there could well have been a reason for that, but never went that route.
anyway, seeing as your a new comer looking for help and advice from our members, its only fair you give us an intro to yourself and consider uploading a profile picture. it would be appreciated and you will find much more help and replies from our members if you did.
please also take a moment to look over our "board rules".

Have a look on you tube, you can build one for a fraction of the cost of the units marketed and on sale, there are several ways to bend and shape plastics, depends on thickness etc, but if the budget is tight, make your own and save yourself a fortune.
Ps first time you test your new project have a fire extinguisher handy -
easy option i came up with and created a quick demo for near to nothing in cost, but, not what i would consider a long term or in quantity method.

Thanks guys, I will give it a go and try and make my own one, its only 3mm acrylic that needs folding so shouldn’t be to hard?? Fire extinguisher at the ready tho!!! haha!! And yes will upload a picture when i get round to working out how to make the picture the right size for upload.
