    Hi

My prints seem to always be on the darker side, using correct templates with vinyls but when compared to other printer my prints are always darker, is there possibly a setting that might not be right in the Rip that is causing this or could solve it?

    cheers

    Warren

Could go round in circles with this one
    Compared to what
    Is your screen about right
Which printer is giving the expected results
Are you using image enhancing such as sign and display or max impact
Are the print technology the same

2nd what Chris says so many different settings could cause dark prints, are you comparing same machines, same inks or water based against ecosol

Check resolution it was suggested to me the other day to print at a higher resolution and a lower pass rate, the print looked really nice but was darker due to laying down more ink.

    Kind regards

    Russell.

I’ll check my rip settings, maybe I just have it on the wrong setting.

Basically customers who are sending me files they’ve had printed for other products my prints are always darker.
