  • advise please with vinyl on an emulsion wall

    hi all,

need to do a few simple wall graphics, applied to a vinyl emulsion wall, I’ve done it before using oracle 551 and 751 with orafol application paper, no problems but, I was just wondering what vinyl others use??

I don’t want to use really cheap tat – though I assume it works going by the huge pieces of art for £10 on ebay, I want to use stuff that ‘needs to last at least 5yrs’,

    cheers,
    Hugh

Use 3M 50 series for that a little bit. Works fine.

Have you tried Avery 500 event film? Sticks to painted walls as well as any other vinyl I’ve used.

Ive been using matt x-film to stick to emulsion walls for yesrs and it works and sticks great …..except on yellow or green walls!…it must be something they put in the paint!
