  Roland Pnc 1860 Cutter Head solenoid / IC Driver

  I bought a second hand machine it does not have enough down pressure to cut through any media even at maximum pressure. It may be the solenoid or the IC driver MTD2005 on the main board or something else. I tested with a multi meter and got some figures but not sure what this means. The findings are as follows.
  124.4 resistance on solenoid ( to me it sounds right).
  In service mode, Down [any pressure setting] .32v, Up [any pressure setting] 37v. which i assume means something wrong with stepper driver but before i start soldering 27 pins I would like to confirm with some of the knowledgeable people out here. Please Help.
