  Desktop printing onto Vinyl – Printer suggestions ?

  Hi,

  Can you please suggest a desktop printer suitable for printing onto vinyl ?

  I’m only looking to do short print runs so not looking at stand mounted wide machines.

  Any suggestions appreciated

  there’s not much that’s ‘desktop’ with the possible exception of the old Gerber Edge that printed at 300mm wide. Stupidly expensive to run for anything except small runs with large profit margins. Wonderful print though.

  Next to no support as it’s pretty outdated.

  totally agree on the Roland BN20. has to be the best entry level printer on the market that is packed with possibilities.

  If size doesn’t matter, yup, BN-20 all day long.

  Print quality is superb, metallic ink opens up enormous possibilities an comes bundled with Versaworks.
