Hey everyone, got a job at the moment, which is vinyl cut graphics going onto aluminium painted boards. Problem is, is that its going outside a popular ice cream parlour just below the window where kids love to peel. Ideally i should of printed it, but it needed to match the fascia colour. Iv cut all the detailed vinyl and now need to laminate it. The boards are bonded in place ,so will have to be done on site… could you recommend the best way of laminating this. Is frog juice up to the job? thanks in advance

    Hi Ben
    – for me frog juice will protect from the point of UV protection etc but not little fingers, I would laminate with a clear laminate, worth noting there will be a slight halo around the cut vinyl edges but a small price to pay for a more tamper proof sign.

Oh and if poss laminate in situ dry as with a wet app the fluid takes a while longer to dissappear around the letters

Hi Ben, 2nd vote for Frog Juice if you want a liquid/spray protection but we’ve laminated signs with Anti graffiti film for the last couple of school signs with no issues.

    I’m thinking regular laminate.
I do not like Frog Juice as I have seen it turn yellow-ish over time.
I once did swimming pool signs and had them shot with clear automotive paint.
The little b@stards still managed to peel the letters.
    😥
    Love….Jill
