Posted by JonPinder on 3 October 2012 at 08:50Hi Everyone,
Struggling to find this 3M product they are sheets of reflective 3M supplied/ used by Fassi cranes. They measure roughly 25cm x 35cm, there is a part number in bottom corner DE2328 cant seem to find them from any sign supplier.

Hi,
Grafityp supply printed reflective chevrons…..not 3m though.
I laminate this material onto white vinyl because it is a fragile metallic film…..a pain to fit and even worse to remove.

if a code has also been printed in the corner it maybe the case that the grade of reflective has to conform to a certain spec, and this is for reference purposes.

Thanks for the replies.
Yeah the backing card says 3M reflective sheeting. Not really sure how it’s made up, but yeah once its got hold it does not want to let go.

Hi there
If you take a picture of the print on the reverse. Then I can double check for you tomorrow.

Hi Jon
From the look of it I think its 3M’s 3290i class ref 1 Engineering grade. The code may either be a company’s own ref. code or a code referring to a special legislation. It might be screen printed or digitally printed.

Thanks Gill. So it looks like its a reflective product that they’ve printed say the red on and is still reflective because of the base being reflective.
I don’t have the ability to screen print, will have to take a look at a third party making them.
Thanks for your help 🙂

Almost certainly overprinted 3m sheeting go to http://www.eurosignsgb.co.uk/
They are authorised by 3m to do this
