Clothing supplier for heat press
Hi
was thinking about getting a heat press for doing TShirts jumpers etc but was wondering if anyone has any contacts for companies that supply clothing.

I tend to use Ralawise or Elms & Elms, both offer good value for money and have never yet let me down!

What size heat press have you got? or what would you recomend?

I use Absolute Apparel (wwwabsoluteapparel.co.uk) for garments. Not as big a choiseas BTC and some of the bigger companies but they sell FOTL , Gildan etc and their own Absolute brand is very competively priced and good quality.
I use a sports press from Europa Leisure HF4500 (www.europa-leisure.co.uk) Adkins is another well known branded make which I think is rabadged andsold by the likes of Magic Touch and Express. Both types haver advantages and disadvantages over the other

I’ve an Adkins Model, branded as Insta from California (i bought second hand). Its a standard size machine.
Some of the people like Target Transfers offer demos for sale and a company called DaveRoper.co.uk also offer demos and used machines. If you search anywear most people will tell you to avoid the cheaper chinese machines on ebay.
I waited till one came up near me so i could see it working etc and paid a bit more for it but (touch wood) its been great so far..

I have used CKL, (good own brand stuff) now using Absolute Apparel, partly for the name (I am Absolute Signs, I like the link) they are as Alan said, quite well priced, another is Unique, they seem well priced too, and the quality of their clothing is good. Personally I cannot stand FOTL goods, always seem inferior to me.

Have to agre with you on the FOTL stuff, I stick mainly to B&C, very good quality.

We have used Pencarrie (used to be UK Leisure ) for many years now http://www.pencarrieukl.com. A4 manual heatpress, A4 pneumatic heat press and a cap press.
These are used on a daily basis very profitable line

Hi Ok looking at mainly starting with printing baby grows to start with just to get used to the machine and set up.
Now looking at BTC activewear it looks like there in a carton quantity so going to have to order a lot of the same item if that makes sense.
Does anyone know of anywhere else that sell babygrows and also the childrens hats that have to little neck cover on that don’t have a minimum order.

Whoever you go to – Speak to them about pricing, don’t just go by the website we’ve set up some good discounts with our supplier after talking to several of them first…
We use the large Adkins (branded from XPRES) manual heat press (for clothing and sublimation items).
