    Hello Guys,

Hope you are all well !

About to use 3m 8150 printable window film on some long spands of internal windows 4200mm in height by 1220 wide.4x panels

Has anyone used this product and can share their experiences?
This film seems pretty thin & plyable and worries me how it will be when applied. It will be wet applied which is a help.

It also has to be cut & but joined on the glass ,any easy way of getting a perfect cut ?

Would really appreciate any installation experiences with this product.I have installed alot of frosted films etc but never as thin as this .

    Appreciate your feedback.

    Cheers
    PJ

    Hi mate,

I assume its laminated too? Unlaminated it can be a bit of a pig to lay especially on such a long drop.

Best was is a soapy mix in your water, and press out the water with a window squeegee like window tinters use.

I use a 12" one. Make sure your blade is new, and wet the film on the back as well.

It will be an easy job this way. Hope that helps

Here is a video that may help you.

Use the correct squegees and other tools when applying, for a few quid you will have all you need.
