honestly, is there much more of the Olympics we can screw up!
I have heard so much f*$£ ups inside camp, as much as those we see in the papers. its a total joke.

dont get me wrong, i know the scale of this and the amount of people etc etc etc.. but still… 🙄

Nigel, you had me take a second look there! 😳 :lol1:

    Calm down calm down… :police2:

It’s not a date it’s a serial number – a way of identifying one of many items of equipment. It just so happens this is item number 2102, if it had been item number 2103 no one would have got the wrong end of the stick and jumped to conclusions 😛

    and… and… and….

    Just look at this picture…

two empty seats to add to the 15,000 others that they messed up with on ticket sales!!!

    and…. breath….

your dead right phill, talk about us missing the obvious! 😳 :lol1: :lol1: :lol1: :lol1:

Judging by this picture, it would appear the original verdict was correct and my theory (whilst plausible) was wrong 😕

Also Nigels suggestion that the number was upside down is probably correct

Rob – please continue with your Rant :lol1: :lol1:

As someone from another forum asked earlier this week…

What happened to the two ‘mascots’ of the games?

Stick with your theory Phill, sounds much better to me. Maybe this just happens to be item number 2012 :lol1: :lol1: :lol1:

I am just back from London fitting signs.
Was in the Croydon area and another right at the millennium dome.
I must say everything built for the games is very impressive and all i kept saying was "that must have cost a fortune to put up" never mind all the other expenses!

As i said, i was immediately at the millenium dome, the veladrome and many other areas with huge constructions now there for the games, and god know how many BMW’s i saw part wrapped in the new branding escorting officials.
but what struck me most was…

    "The place was dead!"

even when i was on site fitting the signs i asked the guys that worked there how they are coping. they said the place is quite and business is slow.
where the hell are they all hiding???? 😮 :lol1: :lol1: :lol1:

I really like London and love the whole husstlle bussle of it, but just couldnt fathem it out.

anyway, i am sure theres a very good explanation for it but beats me.
have to say i was impressed by the new Cable car system. i didnt even see it until i was up a cherry picker about 50ft in the air and i looked over and saw theys cable cars zipping back and forward way way way up in the sky! cant imagine how they did that to span the city but was impressive from way up there in my cherry picker looking at it. :lol1: :lol1:

anyway…. those 15,000+ empty seats not sold could have paid for a good chunk of all these new structures. :lol1:

So, Murray will be Team Scotland at the next Olympics? 😮

And if the divorce goes accordingly, do we get a refund on the cash they blew on all that Olympics stuff? 😮

    Only joking… Right? 😮

Yer & apparently it’s the last one to get cut that pays the round John so you don’t want to be No60 :lol1: :lol1: :lol1:

Just another thought as it’s a bit unclear, is it £4.50 each or £4.50 for all 60 of you ????

  • Phill Fenton

I don’t mean to put a spanner in the works, but the offer was for 60 plus. Thus , only 61 or greater will qualify, 60 is just below the cut off, so im afraid you’ll have to find one more mate?

  • Martin Pearson

You sure Phill?? It could be for 60 & numbers above 60, bit unclear isn’t it. No wonder Derek posted it.
