Please be patient, I am horribly new at this.

When cutting with the pnc960 do I have to feed the length of material to be cut prior to beginning cutting, or is there a way for it to just take what it needs?

I am having the problem that the cutter seems to be cutting from back to front, ie cutting then going back and cutting over the line it has already done. (sucking back the material that has been fed out of the front).

It is probably just a setting – and I have looked at the handbook, but please could someone give me an easy to understand explanation about what is happening and how to get it cutting the right way (cutting at front of vinyl then sucking from roll at back and cutting the next row and so on.)

    Thanks in advance!

p.s. sorry about all the sucking, retrospectively it should have been feeding I guess, but hey, have a laugh on me 😀

Are you using the Roland printer driver direct? from what program?
    or a plugin?

    Gosh, err….

I think I am using the printer driver direct, I am using the cutstudio program that came with the cutter. At present I am just cutting out lots of squares and rectangles for protective covers, so nothing extravagant.
