    Hi Folks –

Is there anyone who supplies the fixings/brackets to attach a wooden hanging sign to an existing wooden post?

I don’t want to rely on a pair of screw eyes in the top edge of the sign – ideally a steel(?) strip with the eyes welded in place that fits the top edge of the panel and extends down the two sides a bit so it screws into the side of the panel rather than the top.

(The hanging post is in position and the panel will be @ 20" sq.)

    Any suggestions welcome

    Cheers
    Paul

Cheers Robert – couldn’t see any off the shelf items to suit, but I’ll do a drawing of what I’m after and give them a call to see what they come up with. . . .

    Thanks for the suggestion 😀

After many hours of searching for something similar I couldn’t find anything off the shelf except these sign bandings.

In the end it was easier (and cheaper) to go to my local steel fabricator who made the top banding on this sign to my specs.

Cheers Stuart – The sign banding is exactly what I need. :thanks2:

(I’ve done the same in the past using a local fabricator/blacksmith to make ’em up. . . . he’s a bit far away from where I am now though so thought I’d see i there was something available off the shelf)
