Using both progs on 2 different computers same file comes to the rip programme different colours!!!!! 🙁

Have tried copying the PS6 settings into CS2 but problem persists.

I prefer PS6 as the black prints jet black yet out of CS2 it’s a bit grey/wishy washy.

Is there something elementary i’m missing on the 2 programmes??

    Cheers,

    F

Photoshop 6 and Creative Suite2 Photoshop?

I know PS5 had a colour space issue… maybe PS6 was the start of when they started using Adobe RGB? you have to be a bit more specific about what colourspaces you are using.

    Colour spaces!!!?????

Just a novice on the PS side of things Dave!!!
As far as i can see the settings are identical apart from in CS2 there is additional conversion options which PS6 hasn’t got (hot)

lets put it bluntly… PS6 is when Adobe started concentrating on handling colour correctly for press (Colour management came in PS5) and PS6 is 12 years old. Things have moved on a lot
