    Hi All,

I’ve had a look through the sign toolbar with out much success, can anyone recommend a TRADE only supplier/printer of the promo (external) event type teardrop /feather flags? I can’t believe the prices some are quoting for a bit of fibreglass, a spike and flag!

    thanks in advance,
    Hugh

    Hi Hugh,
i had some done by bannerbox last year, have you given them a try? high cost items, and when you see what you get it makes me chuckle, but the clients loved them.

    cheers

Hugh, their is a good list of all the usual suspects on there, are you sure mate?
bannerbox is there too, as dan says.

buying at a keen price is one thing, but doesnt mean you sell them for nothing mate. just mark-up as you should and some. if your customer wants, he has to pay.

    Cheers guys.

I’ve dealt with banner ox before and while good, they were a lot more expensive, good service though- to be fair.

Hampshire flag too, always been good and ok priced.

Trouble is, when dealing with big companies or car dealer chains, they don’t mind spending it but for smaller ‘one of’ events or local teams /clubs, it seems to be a high expense for what you get!

    Hi Hugh,
have you got a eco solvent printer? We did a couple last year for a small dive centre (with a low budget). You can buy the displays quite cheaply, I then printed into Image perfect 2313 pes textile banner (which prints really well, stay away from flag materials, i havent found one that prints well and doesnt look transparent).
I then took the printed banners to a nautical seamstress and she unpicked the flag that came with the set, sowed our printed bit in, and i worked out a lot cheaper, client was chuffed and they lasted a summer and when they do eventually give up we will just repeat the process!

Do you have a supplier cash display in uk? they have some very cheap options for tear drops and windchasers?

    cheers

Hi Hugh, just had an email today from http://www.signwaves.co.uk with an offer on these, full kit, various sizes, printed. Didnt look too bad, price-wise.
