  Whats needed to run a Graphtec CE5000-60 on a Mac?

  As above really, I’ve been doing research over the last few weeks and have pretty much settled on getting a CE5000-60.

  I’ll be running it from a Mac with full CS5 suite. From what I’ve gathered it’s a case of installing drivers and a plugin for Illustrator. Is it as simple as that? Obviously excluding getting the settings sorted.

  Pretty much yeah.

  If it’s like the FC 8000 I have, download Cutting master 2 (don’t think it works with OSX Lion though) and install the plugin for illustrator.

  Thanks for the info David, just need to decide if I go for a good 2nd hand unit or take the plunge on a new one…

  Graphtecs are known for their reliability and build quality, unless it’s been used and abused you should be fine.
