quote Robert Lambie:i use Oracal banner tape from RHG.
hello Robert, which is the Oracal reference please?
-
yep Indasol do tapes like this too mate, reputable also. but i haven’t used their banner tape to comment. 😀
Fabrice, i dont have a reference as such, i just ask for their Oracal Double sided Banner tape. i wasnt aware Oracal did tapes like this, always thought it was vinyls and the like. but has the full branded oracal core in them. found them to be more competitive on price than the tesa tape brand i was using in the past as i had to buy about 20-30 rolls at a time, but can buy this stuff by the roll. that said, i do still buy in quantities of 10 minimum.
one thing to watch when getting prices on tapes like this, you are often quoted "by the roll" but roll length often differs greatly. -
I use the orabond 1395 banner tape from Robert Horne. 25metres per roll.

Robert, I asked because my supplier can provide Orabond 1397, 1395, 1392 etc… and I don’t really know which one is best for banner hemming. They all look like red on the picture, that’s all what I know 😉

Hi Fabrice, when I phone Robert Horne and ask for banner Hem tape the 3195 is what they send me 25mm wide and clear. Never had any problems with it and it’s about the right price.

that could be the one i use too steve… but i am hopeless with brand codes/series etc… :lol1:
one thing ill add fabrice, its not red, its a sort of mustard caramac colour. 😀
i have a brand of 3M hemming tape to try which i know comes in 50metre rolls so works out a bit cheaper. but i havent tried it yet and comes in minimum rolls per purchase.

We use Kingdom for our banner tape and also a range of other branded and non branded tapes, plus bubble wrap and wipes etc, I’ve found their prices reasonable.

Iv’e always used the one from Grafityp with no problems
