    Hi,

We have a Roland Versacamm VP 540i and we are considering a motorized take up bar.

Basically its a pain to keep botching the solution by manually rotating an empty tube and not being able to leave the machine otherwise risking dust/fibers from the floor getting onto the print.

What would you folks recommend, have seen this http://www.supply55.com/reelpro.html

and also seen some official ones that were out of this world price wise!

    Any links would be fantastic,

:police: Please take a moment to look over our Board Rules.

    Cheers Folks

We bought a similar unbranded take up system a couple of years ago which performs perfectly. Around £170 as I recall against £1200 odd for the Roland kit (albeit very different kettle of fish).
There are lots of these Chinese units shipped in with sellers sticking their own labels on.
Just make sure that it’s dis-engaged if using print & cut.
