I got one from Maplin but they don’t do it anymore and the ones they do now are dearer. Personally I’d go for the Amazon one. . Suntekstore.co.uk are actually in Hong Kong and it will take longer to come and any issues will be harder to sort out.

Can’t believe I didn’t check out the address for that Suntek store, really gets me when a store pretends to be British and its based in another country like this! Thanks for picking up on that one for me, I’ll order the Amazon one

Thanks Jason, but I’ll give this one on Amazon a go through Top Cash Back too so I get some cash back as well

havent had a proper look at the links, but make sure if your thermometer is cheap,
it reaches the required temp settings.
some only reach 100 degrees which isnt any use for wrapping. you should be looking at your temp device reaching a minimum of around 200 degrees before the temp stops registering.
also, the cheaper they are, the less accurate they are also. so keep yourself covered.
some cheaper ones also give a reading a bit slower, but not always noticeable.

bought one of fleebay a while for about £20 new from china, and so far it works perfectly, dont see the sense in paying big bucks for one.

    Thanks for the valuable advice.
The Amazon one I’ve now bought goes from -20c to +200c so should be fine for wrapping, but I wonder what else I can use it for? 🙂
I posted the 2 as ideas but always look at getting something above the cheapest as its always ‘you get what you pay for’
